Mississippi Municipal League had one of its most productive years, under the leadership of our [past] President, Mayor Gene McGee of Ridgeland. Due to his talents as an innovative leader and professional municipal manager, Mississippi Municipal League experienced great success in involving over 650 elected municipal officials in professional training through the Certified Municipal Officials Program.

Mayor McGee’s devotion to the City of Ridgeland, his professional leadership skills and strong personal values have been an example for elected municipals throughout Mississippi, and he is a progressive, positive influence on the League and its members.
