In the last 20 years, since Gene McGee has served the City of Ridgeland as Mayor, Ridgeland’s tax base has more than doubled, thereby creating a larger tax base which in turn keeps the millage rate low.  The citizens of Ridgeland have enjoyed some of the lowest taxes in Mississippi, and the current leadership deserves the credit.
