I have known Mayor Gene McGee for over 29 years, and probably know him as well as anyone other than his wife. I know Gene to be a fine Christian, that he loves his church, his family and his friends unconditionally, and is fiercely loyal.

For the 24 years he has served City of Ridgeland, 20 as mayor, he has been a person of uncompromising honesty and integrity, and has worked tirelessly for the benefit of the city, its residents and businesses.
